Join us in the fall for events designed to help you explore our school and connect with our community. 
All events require advance registration via the application portal, which opens by September 1, 2025. Join events that spark your interest—there is no expectation to attend them all. In-person events are open to families with students in 8th grade and above, while virtual events are open to families with students in 7th grade and above.

Student Classroom Visit & Parent Tour
In-person event for families with students in 8th grade and above
We are delighted to welcome you to our vibrant community and beautiful campus. During your 90-minute visit, each student guest will be paired with a current student to attend a class, while parents tour the campus with a member of our admission team. The visit concludes with everyone coming together for a lively Q&A with current CPS students and faculty.
Arts & Athletics Showcase 
In-person event for families with students in 8th grade and above
Meet faculty and students from all four of our arts disciplines—dance, drama, music, and visual arts—and learn how the arts are integral to our program and deeply meaningful to our students. Hear from our athletic directors, coaches, and student-athletes about team sports, our unique physical education philosophy, and how athletics at College Prep support a wide range of interests and abilities. 
Conversation with Head of School Monique DeVane
In-person event for families with students in 8th grade and above
Parents and guardians are invited to an informal meet-and-greet with Monique DeVane, now in her 15th year as College Prep’s Head of School. Join us for light refreshments and a relaxed group conversation with Ms. DeVane.

Equity & Belonging Evening

In-person event for families with students in 8th grade and above
Our commitment is to ensure that each of our students is known, valued, respected, and offered a measure of grace as they move from adolescence to young adulthood. This event is a warm and welcoming opportunity for all interested applicants and their families to learn more about College Prep’s equity and belonging programming and school culture. Attendees will hear from student leaders, our Dean of Equity and Belonging, and current parents.

Public & Parochial School Forum
In-person event for families with students in 8th grade and above
This event is for families whose children currently attend public or parochial schools. Students who have made the shift to College Prep from similar school settings will offer practical advice and honest insights about what the transition is really like. The admission team will also be available to answer questions about the application process.

Virtual Events

Join us for virtual events that bring College Prep to life through the voices of students, faculty, and alumni. We'll email you a Zoom link two days before each event you register for. If you don't receive it, please check your spam folder or reach out to admissions@college-prep.org for assistance. 
Alumni in College Panel
Virtual event for families with students in 7th grade and above
This event features a panel of recent College Prep graduates who will reflect on how their time at CPS prepared them for life beyond high school. A Q&A with attendees will follow.

Demystifying Financial Aid Webinar
This presentation walks you through the costs of attending College Prep, illuminates the financial aid process at independent schools, and offers helpful tips for completing your financial aid application. This event is conducted as a webinar, allowing participants to listen and ask questions anonymously.
Faculty & Administration Panel
Virtual event for families with students in 7th grade and above
This session offers the chance to hear from teachers and administrators as they answer your questions about academics, athletics, campus life, and our culture of belonging. The event is geared toward parents, but students are welcome to attend.

Join teachers from College Prep's academic departments (English, History, World Languages, Math, and Science) for interactive demo lessons. You’ll discover how we approach these subjects, the progression of courses within each department, and the opportunities available to students both inside and outside the classroom.

Current CPS students will share their perspectives on academics, arts, athletics, clubs, and campus life, offering an inside look at what it’s like to be part of the College Prep community. They’ll also answer your questions about student life and the opportunities that make College Prep unique.
