It is with pride and gratitude that we celebrate The Campaign for College Prep! This transformational accomplishment—the most successful fundraising effort in the School’s history—allows us to better serve our students and fulfill our distinctive mission.
As we celebrate all of those who contributed to the Campaign, we know that we stand on the shoulders of prior generations, current and past parents, alumni, grandparents, and friends who chose, and who continue to choose, to make College Prep a philanthropic priority.
The Campaign for College Prep raised a total of $22 million, of which
$20 million funded The Hill Project and $2 million, the School’s Endowment. We give special thanks to the Wayne and Gladys Valley Foundation for awarding the School a challenge grant of $8 million for The Hill Project. This milestone for our School, the largest gift in its history, raised our sights and made the project possible.

Throughout this campaign, many people told us they were making their largest gift ever to the School—and often, their largest gift ever to any organization. We see the impact of their generosity everyday in the way it has transformed the center of campus for our students and teachers. Our community’s care and commitment means so much to us all!

The Hill Project
Now, more than ever, the importance of a robust endowment is foundational to our long-term sustainability and relevance. Although The Campaign for College Prep closes this June, we continue to focus our efforts on increasing the School’s Endowment.
The composition of our community is a critical part of how and what our students learn. High school is a time of exploring new ideas and perspectives, broadening understandings and skills, and grappling with one’s place in a pluralistic society. Equity of access to a College Prep education is essential. Our goal is to admit students based on their talents, curiosities, character, and aspirations, and then to ensure that they are fully supported.
Our faculty is the cornerstone of our school, in and out of the classroom. For over 60 years, generations of College Prep students have been guided and mentored by top-notch educators with mastery of their subjects and a passion for teaching and learning. By building our endowment in support of faculty, we foster talented teachers who know and support their students.
We look forward to engaging the community in funding access and affordability for our students, and recruitment and retention of our faculty.
